NYC--Boston MA an overview

Katrina and I went to the east coast last week for a one year anniversary/belated honeymoon. We had the bestest time of all.

Time Square was all Yugi Oh, like what i would expect Tokyo to be like. our first meal in New York was at a sandwich place called Roxy's. i ordered a triple decker as did Chris (Katrina's brother). we asked the Russian waiter if it came with fries, i mean come on a $22 sandwich, and he said "no, is very big sandwich" . NO FUCKING SHIT!!! this sandwich was a foot high. i couldn't even finish half of it.

walked thru Central Park saw the Dakota building and Strawberry Fields.went to the Guggenheim and saw some art. went to Avenue Q a broadway play with puppets and people.its basically Sesame Street with adult themes. saw puppets having sex. had drinks at Joe Allen's before the play, saw famous people whose names are unknown to me. drove thru Massachussetts on backroads saw lots of pretty leaves and trees and mountains. stopped at an art museum called Mass Moca in the middle of nowhere Ma. and saw the work of a genius.

Matthew Ritchie

ate some really good pizza. walked and walked and walked all over. went to Harvard Square and thought how smart everyone there must be. ate some really good Indian food. took subway trains and buses but no taxis.ate some really good sushi. went to a Revolution soccer game in Boston and saw them win to go on to the playoffs. heard Chris yell real loud at refs for being dumb. picked seashells at the beach and only one broke on the trip home. ate clam chowder twice. didn't get stabbed at all.
went to Martha's Vineyard on a boat. want to go back. took lots of pictures.saw a rock show TV on the Radio and The Faint.

the Faint were great. they are kind of like the new New Order. or the new Originals...or was it the Regulars?
TVOTR were fantastic too. it's nice to see painters making music again.
