Now I'm REALLY excited about the shows this weekend. I mean, for $18.50 I'll say a band is cool, and then go play video lottery. But I'm really looking forward to this show.
As for the war between Canada and Denmark, I disagree about the press coverage. Even though a truce was reached in late September, there has been widespread speculation that the two governments may have their eyes on future claims over northern fishing grounds or access to the Northwest Passage, should global warming make the route more viable. Like the show at Phil's this weekend, the result of the battle for Hans Island will be interesting to see.
I wish I could be at the shows tonight and Saturday night to see Wumpus at Phil's Pub, but unfortunately I'll be MAKING MONEY THEN as I get paid to secret shop in several places in my zip code.
I mean, Wumpus is one of my favorite bands, but to make money for taking surveys . . . it would be crazy of me to pass up an opportunity like this and I live in a metropolitan area!
